A timeless seaside-inspired sweatshirt, handmade in our signature relaxed style using a beautiful organic cotton French terry jersey in a classic hand-painted blue and ivory stripe.
Inspired by the charming colours and character of a Cornish harbour, the irregular navy denim blue painted stripes give this design a wonderfully relaxed, coastal feel — perfect for little dogs who love classic style with a touch of something different.
Made from a soft and comfortable 95% organic cotton / 5% elastane French terry jersey, the fabric has a beautifully soft feel with natural stretch, making it comfortable for everyday wear while allowing your dog plenty of freedom to move.
Each sweatshirt is lovingly handmade by Puppies & Pom Poms, with the stripes positioned individually, making every piece subtly unique.

Care Instructions
To keep your jumper looking its best, we recommend gentle hand washing in cool water. Alternatively, machine wash on a cool, delicate cycle. Reshape whilst damp and allow to air dry naturally.
To keep your dog's new French terry vest looking beautiful and fitting perfectly, you want to wash it carefully. Since dog clothes get dirty fast but are made of stretchy fabrics, they need a little extra protection from heat and rough spinning.
Here is the best way to launder the vest so it does not shrink or lose its stretch:
1. The Wash Cycle

Wash on cold: Always use a cold water setting (30°C / 85°F or lower). Heat is the number one enemy of both French terry and ribbing. Hot water will shrink the cotton fibers and destroy the elastic in your rib trim.

Use a mesh garment bag: Pop the tiny vest into a mesh laundry bag before throwing it in the machine. This prevents the small armholes and neckband from getting hooked on zippers or stretched out by heavier clothes.

Gentle detergent: Use a mild, pet-safe laundry detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can coat the fibers and reduce the breathable, moisture-wicking qualities of the French terry.
2. The Drying Routine

Air dry flat (Highly Recommended): Lay the vest flat on a towel or a drying rack to dry naturally. This preserves the shape of the ribbing perfectly so it doesn't sag or gape.

If using a dryer: Use the Air Fluff or Low Heat setting only. Take the vest out while it is still slightly damp and let it finish air drying.
3. Post-Wash Care
- Give it a quick steam: After a few washes, the loopers inside the overlock seams might fluff up or curl. Give the armholes and hem a quick press with a warm steam iron to instantly flatten the seams back down and make the vest look brand new again.
